Emanuel School has shown me that you can always have a new beginning and how to place value on giving back to the community wholeheartedly – not for what you get back, but for how it enriches others’ lives.

Gina came to Emanuel School as a Year 11 student and from her first day felt a sense of belonging. Her transition to Emanuel has been a seamless one. She feels that Emanuel School immediately provided her with a wonderful, safe and nurturing environment where she could be herself and work towards her own personal goals.

Gina is committed and dedicated to her schoolwork. She is sporty and outgoing and wants to be remembered for her strong work ethic, friendliness and positive outlook on life.

She highlights her trip to Jilkminggan in the Northern Territory as an intensely personal journey. She feels that it was an eye-opening experience that gave her a deeper understanding of Aboriginal history and culture.

Gina points to the wonderful relationship she established with her teachers, who have been supportive and encouraging, going above and beyond to provide her with academic support and emotional care.
