Why do I have to pay a fee for this course?

MedStar employees are given an automatic discount for all courses. If there is a remaining balance after the discount has been applied, you should contact your education department or manager to determine if there is an additional discount that has been pre-arranged for your organization. 

How do I cancel my course and or request a course refund?

Can I get into a course that is marked as full/closed?

Due to AHA guidelines as well as Covid-19 regulations, we have to abide by certain guidelines and therefore we can not overfill our classes. We have a learner to instructor ratio that must be maintained per AHA guidelines. Space may become available in a course if an already enrolled student requests to be removed from a course. We recommend that you continually check our course listings for openings as we are continuously updating and adding new courses.

How do I obtain my AHA eCard?

"I tried to sign up for a course but the system isn't showing me an 'enroll' button. How do I sign up for the course?"

When a course has not been completed in your curriculum, this error will occur. Please check your curriculum to see if the course is listed and email aha_support@email.sitel.org to have the course removed so you can enroll in your desired course. 

Can I recertify BLS and ACLS at the same time?

Yes! You can recertify in BLS simultaneously with ACLS or PALS by enrolling in our CRT 107 course for the same date as your ACLS or PALS course.

AHA Course Card Reference Guide

My course is tomorrow and I can't make it, how can I reschedule?

The SiTELMS system is designed to lock courses 24-hours prior to their scheduled date/time and will unlock them 24-hours after the course has been completed. After that period, you will be able to reschedule by clicking on the blue reschedule link next to the course title.
