MedStar employees are given an automatic discount for all courses. If there is a remaining balance after the discount has been applied, you should contact your education department or manager to determine if there is an additional discount that has been pre-arranged for your organization.

Due to AHA guidelines as well as Covid-19 regulations, we have to abide by certain guidelines and therefore we can not overfill our classes. We have a learner to instructor ratio that must be maintained per AHA guidelines. Space may become available in a course if an already enrolled student requests to be removed from a course. We recommend that you continually check our course listings for openings as we are continuously updating and adding new courses. 

You can obtain your CE credits for our hybrid courses by following the provided steps listed below:

1.  Log in to your SiTELMS account

2.  navigating to My Curriculum 

3. clicking the Completed tab.

4. Locate the course name and click on the blue link (This will take you to the course details page).

5. Click on the link for the online content (this will open in a new window)

6. Click Review Presentation (This will open another window) 

7. Scroll down and click Claim CME/CE

8. You will be redirected to a page to enter your contact information so you can receive your CME/CE credits.  

• After your course has been completed, your instructor will mark whether or not you passed in the SiTELMS system and will issue an eCard.

•  You should look for an email that comes directly from AHA instructing you to claim your eCard.

  •  Please be sure to check your spam/junk folders for this email.

  •  If you do not receive an email please contact lifesupporttraining@medstar.net

When a course has not been completed in your curriculum, this error will occur. Please check your curriculum to see if the course is listed and email lifesupporttraining@medstar.net to have the course removed so you can enroll in your desired course. 

Yes! You can recertify in BLS simultaneously with ACLS or PALS by enrolling in our CRT 107 course for the same date as your ACLS or PALS course.

The SiTELMS system is designed to lock courses 24-hours prior to their scheduled date/time and will unlock them 24-hours after the course has been completed. After that period, you will be able to reschedule by clicking on the blue reschedule link next to the course title.
