Clinical Simulation Center (CSC) at Trinity Square

Facility Description

In January 2018, we completed construction on the space and expanded to 3,100 square feet. This new space has two debriefing/lecture rooms, a simulated operating room, four dedicated high fidelity training patient bays with audio/visual monitoring equipment that is viewed from a dedicated control room. We also have a dedicated staff kitchen and break room, staff offices, storage rooms, registration space, and reception space.

High-Fidelity Simulation Bays

There are four simulation bays that have A/V recording capabilities for debriefing.

Simulated Operating Room

One large simulated space with dedicated A/V recording capabilities for debriefing two scenarios. Includes MedStar Standard OR flooring and tile.

FLS / FES Testing Center

SAGES Certified testing location for Fundamentals of Laparoscopic Surgery and Fundamentals of Endoscopic Surgery

Lecture Room

Flexible space, includes tables, chairs and screens for 20 people.

Large Patient Suite

Large simulated patient area that can also be used as flexible procedure/skill space.

Simulated Bathroom

Used for Environmental Service Simulations and fire safety.
