Update #11
Dear MHS Students,
We made it to the end of the school year! We are so proud of all of you for getting to this point. We know it hasn't been easy.
We would like to welcome the class of 2024 to the Guidance News and Updates page! We hope you enjoyed the Virtual Transition Day program and had a chance to make a Flipgrid introducing yourself to your Guidance Counselor.
It's officially time to say goodbye to Mrs. Mahoney who has been a counselor in our office for the last five years- we will miss you very much! We would also like to welcome Mrs. DiLuzio. Some of you got to know Mrs. DiLuzio when she filled in for Mrs. Mahoney's maternity leave. We are excited to have her back!
Please take a moment to review the information below. Although we will not be checking email on a daily basis this summer, please feel free to write to us if you need anything and we will get back to you. We hope you take time this summer to relax and find something to do that is meaningful to you. Read, get involved in a cause that's important to you, exercise, reach out to people in the community who may need help, help our your parents/guardians with tasks around the house. Take care of yourself and your friends and family.
We don't know exactly what the fall will look like, but fingers crossed we will be seeing you all in person very soon!
Sincerely,
The MHS Counselors
Mrs. Worthley, Mrs. Mahoney, Mrs. Lodge, Mrs. Padden, Mr. Ormberg, & Mr. Becker
Thank you to Mrs. Mahoney for spending the last five years with us at Medfield High School! Mrs. Mahoney and her family are relocating to New Jersey to be closer to family. Mrs. Mahoney will be missed very much in the Guidance Office. Farewell!
Medfield High School will be hosting a Virtual Evening of Excellence event! During the program, awards will be presented along with recognitions for students' outstanding academic achievements and contributions to Medfield High School. The administrators and faculty of Medfield High School have collaborated with Medfield TV and have a TENTATIVE DATE for airing the presentation on Friday, June 19th at 7:00pm. The YouTube link to the program will be available and shared after the event is presented on Medfield TV. We will be forwarding the final date/time as soon as it is confirmed.
Monday, June 15th is Transition Day in the district. Although we cannot welcome our incoming students in person, we have put together a virtual program for Monday.
The virtual program includes:
Videos and information from Administration, Guidance Counselors, our IT Specialist, and the Athletic Director.
Videos from students on various topics, such as classes, lunches, lockers, athletics, and more!
A slideshow of yearbook photos to highlight what life is like at MHS!
Lastly, students will have the opportunity to complete a Flipgrid to introduce themselves to their HS Guidance Counselor.
Make a quick Flipgrid introducing yourself to your Guidance Counselor. Click on your counselor's name to record your video.
