Hi Everyone!
I hope you’re all staying healthy and safe amidst these truly unprecedented times. I have already had the pleasure of meeting many of you, but if my name is unfamiliar I am your school Adjustment Counselor here at Medfield High School. A significant part of my job is discussing and treating the mental health challenges our students face, and typically at this time we would be leading the third and final stage of the Signs of Suicde Curriculum for our Seniors. Obviously we will not be able to deliver the content in the same way, but still felt very strongly that this is good information for you to have. A number of resources are discussed throughout the presentation which are linked below, and I recommend everyone take a look through them to better familiarize yourselves with what supports are out there. Lastly, whether we have already been introduced or not, feel free to reach out to me at any time with questions, concerns or worries about this or any other topic. Times are uniquely difficult right now and it may seem harder than ever to feel connected and supported. I know I speak for the entire guidance staff when I say that we are here for you, no matter what it is you may need, all you have to do is reach out.
Be Well,
Mr. Becker
