This course can be demanding, so be prepared. The numbers of a class do mean something, and this is a senior-level capstone. Some students rate it as taking much more time and effort than their other courses (you can review student ratings of this course by going to this link and looking up the ASUA Reports). However, most students also rate it as one of the most useful courses they've taken. I just want you to know what you're getting into before we begin. You can do it - you just have to plan to put in the effort.
All assignments are open now, meaning you have until the assignment deadline to turn them in. However, I typically don't grade assignments prior to the assignment due date.
These are the primary tools we'll be using this semester, though this isn't the exhaustive list:
D2L - D2L will be used to manage our assignments and grades (and anything else we need to keep private and/or record for University purposes). You'll submit your assignments through D2L and your grades/feedback will be delivered through that system.
Checklists (in D2L) - These will help you keep track of your assignments and other deliverables. There's a link to the Checklists on our D2L homepage and you can also access it from the D2L Class Tools dropdown menu.
Course web site - If you're reading this, you've already discovered the course web site! Here you'll find the lessons, syllabus and other key materials for the course. Have a look around and let me know if you have any questions. You can bookmark this site and access it from any device (though you may have to log in with your UA credentials).
