1件あたり1800万円以内／会計年度

＜Ｂ．アジア・アフリカ学術基盤形成型＞
(1)対象となる研究
アジア・アフリカ地域に特有、又は同地域で特に重要と認めら
れる研究課題であり、かつ、我が国が重点的に研究することが
有意義と認められるもの
(2)対象国
我が国と国交のあるアジア・アフリカ諸国２カ国以上を主たる
相手国とする
（台湾・パレスチナを含み，中国・韓国・シンガポール・台湾
のみを相手国とする場合を除く。）
(3)支給額・採択件数
1件あたり800万円以内／会計年度
10件程度採択予定

applications for Core-to-Core Program for FY2026.
To apply for this program, please read the guidelines carefully,
and submit your application form as follows.
<Program Information>
A. Advanced Research Networks
1) Targeted Research Fields
-Research topics considered to be cutting-edge and
internationally important in Japan. (All fields of
the humanities, social sciences and natural
sciences.)
2) Eligible Countries
-At least two or more countries that have diplomatic
relations with Japan.
3) Project Funding & Number of Projects
-Up to \18 million per fiscal year
-About 9 projects
B. Asia-Africa Science Platforms
1) Targeted Research Fields
-Research topics of special importance or significance
to Asia and/or African and considered to be of high
priority within Japan (All fields of the humanities,
social sciences and natural sciences.)
2) Eligible Countries
-At least two Asian and/or African countries that have
diplomatic relations with Japan
3) Project Funding & Number of Projects
-Up to \8 million per fiscal year
-About 10 projects

<About HOPE Meeting>
HOPE Meetings give opportunities to excellent graduate
students selected from countries and areas in the Asia-
Pacific and Africa region to engage in interdisciplinary

hoped that the experience the students gain at the meeting
will inspire and motivate them to become excellent
scientists able to shoulder the future of science and
technology in the region.

<Program outline>
The aim of these programs is to form sustained networks
evolved from individual researcher exchanges including young
researchers. JSPS provides financial support to Japanese
researchers visiting counterpart countries to carry out
research and/or discussions with researchers in those
countries.

【今年度の対象分野】
3 分野合同（物理学、化学、生理学・医学関連分野）
【リンダウ・ノーベル賞受賞者会議について】
本会議は、世界各地の若手研究者の育成を目的として1951年に開
設され、毎年リンダウ（Lindau：ドイツ南部のボーデン湖に面する
保養地）において1週間程度の日程で開催されています。毎回30名
程度のノーベル賞受賞者が招かれ、世界各地から集った若手研究者
に対して講演を行うとともに、参加者とのディスカッションに応じ
るもので、若手研究者にとっては、受賞者と昼夜親しく接して大き
な知的刺激を受けると同時に、世界中に研究者ネットワークを形成
する絶好の機会となっています。
物理学、化学、生理学・医学の自然科学3分野から、毎年左の順
序で1分野を対象とする会議がローテーションで行われるが、5年ご
とにこのローテーションを止めて、3分野合同会議が挟み込まれま
す。また、2～3年ごとに経済学分野が追加的に開催されます。

・日本国籍を持つ者または永住許可外国人
・大学等学術研究機関に所属している者
・2028年7月3日（金）時点で博士課程学生かポスドク研究者

Interdisciplinary (Chemistry, Physics, and Physiology/Medicine)
< About "Lindau Nobel Laureate Meetings" >
Lindau Nobel Laureate Meetings have been held since 1951.
They take place for about a week once every year in Lindau,
an island resort on the eastern side of Lake Constance, the
Bodensee, located in Southern Germany. About 30 Nobel
Laureates are invited to the meetings, to give lectures and
participate in panel discussions with young researchers from
around the world.
Every year, the meetings alternate their focus between the
three natural science disciplines of Physics, Chemistry and
Physiology/Medicine. A meeting on Economic Sciences has been
held every two or three years since 2004, and an
Interdisciplinary Meeting (Physics, Chemistry,
Physiology/Medicine) has been held every five years since
2000 in place of a usual natural science meeting in either
of the three disciplines.
The meetings dedicate to foster highly talented young
researchers by providing them with opportunities to talk
with Nobel Laureates in a casual setting all day, which
would stimulate their intellectual curiosity. They also
offer the best chances to build international peer networks.

1. Those who have Japanese nationality or permanent
residential permission in Japan.
2. Those who are Doctoral Students or Postdoctoral Scientists
in universities or research institute as of July 3, 2028
3. Those who have never participated in this conference in the past.

【二国間交流事業 趣旨】
本事業は、個々の研究者交流を発展させた二国間の研究チームの

applications for Bilateral Joint Research Projects/Seminars for
FY2026.
To apply for this program, please read its guidelines carefully,
and submit your application as follows.
<Program outline>
The aim of these programs is to form sustained networks
evolved from individual scientist exchanges including young
scientists. JSPS provides financial support to Japanese
scientists implementing such bilateral joint research
projects and seminars between research teams from Japan and
counterpart countries.
The Bilateral Joint Research Projects/Seminars is
comprised of two components:
(A) Bilateral Joint Research Projects/Seminars with JSPS’s
Counterpart Institutions and
(B) Open Partnership Joint Research Projects/Seminars. Open
Partnership Joint Research Projects/Seminars provides
Japanese researchers an opportunity to conduct
research/seminar with researchers around the world who
reside in a country that has diplomatic relations with
Japan. (JSPS also treats researchers who reside in Taiwan
and Palestine in this manner.)

募集する参加研究者の対象分野：人文学、社会科学及び自然科学の全分野
＊ 本シンポジウムはすべて英語で行われます。
【開催趣旨】
新進気鋭の若手研究者による分野横断的な議論を通じて、新しい学問領域の開拓に貢献
するとともに、広い学問的視野を持つ次世代のリーダーを育成することを目的とする。
【応募資格者】
研究機関に所属する若手研究者（※１）のうち、以下の条件を全て満たすこと
１）申請時点において、我が国の学術研究機関に通算5年以上、
研究職として所属した経歴があること。
２）優れた学術業績があること（受賞歴等があれば記載すること。）。
３）英語での議論に優れること。
４）リーダーシップを発揮できること。
５）自分の専門分野に限らず幅広い分野に関心を持ち、積極的に議論や
ポスター発表に参加すること。
６）対象となるシンポジウムの全日程に参加し、会場に宿泊できること。
※１：令和8（2026）年4月1日時点で博士の学位を有する45歳以下の者又は博士の学位を
取得後15年以下の者であることを要件とする。
ただし、申請者の出産・育児による休業（休暇、休職、離職を含む。）に伴う研究
活動の中断期間（人事記録等により確認できるもの）が通算3ヶ月以上であることを
申請者の所属機関が認める場合は、博士の学位を有する47 歳以下の者又は博士の
学位を取得後17 年以下の者まで応募可能とする。

Discussant Candidates for "Frontiers of Symposium".

●The 12th Japanese-French Frontiers of Science (JFFoS) Symposium

<Purpose of Symposiums>
The Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) holds Frontiers of
Science (FoS) Symposiums for the purpose of contributing to the pioneering
of new interdisciplinary domains through cross-disciplinary discussions
advanced by excellent young researchers and for fostering future generation
of leaders who possess wide interdisciplinary perspectives.
<Application Eligibility>
Young researchers (*1) who hold a doctora degree, belong to one of the research
institutions in Japan and who meet all of the following conditions.
Conditions:
(1) Have held a position as a researcher at an eligible research institution designated by Japan’s MEXT for a total period of at least five years.
(2) Have an excellent record of research
(3) Have excellent ability to hold discussions in English
(4) Be able to display leadership
(5) Have a broad interest in research beyond their own field of specialization and actively participate in discussions and poster presentations
(6) Be availableto participate in all of the days of the symposium and to lodge at the venue during the period of the symposium.
Note*1: Definition of "Young researchers"
45 years old or younger or have received their doctoral degree within the past 15 years as of April 1, 2026.
If the applicant's home institution acknowledges that the applicant has interrupted her/his research activities for a total of at least three months due to childbirth or childcare, she/he may apply up to 47 years of age or less with a doctoral degree, or 17 years or less after obtaining her/his doctoral degree.
