The Membership Team recruits and welcomes new members, and conducts a variety of activities to engage communities and to increase the chapter in size and diversity.
The team generally meets on the fourth Monday of each month at 10:30 a.m.

Continue welcoming orientation and engagement process for new members, including quarterly Meet & Greet events
Facilitate Understanding and Acting on the Climate Crisis course: At least 4 three-part series & 6 one-time workshops
Engage 20 libraries in creating Earth Day displays
Coordinate with planning group/education team for the annual in-person meeting in September honoring Grandparent Month including the selection of Good Ancestor Awards
Participate in at least 5 community events with opportunities for increasing diversity in our membership
Organize kits of handouts and resources for use at events
Increase by 20 the number of chapter members
Train and incorporate at least two new facilitators for Understanding and Acting on the Climate Crisis Course
