The Legislative Team aims to impact legislation and policymaking to reduce greenhouse gases in our atmosphere to a level consistent with life thriving on our planet.
The team generally meets over Zoom every two weeks (weekly during the legislative session) on Thursdays at 10:00 a.m.

Make contact and build relationships with policymakers in key legislative committees in a nonpartisan manner.
Select bills and policies to support (& oppose) through written and/or verbal testimony, contacting committee members and our own representatives, and showing up at committee hearings and lobby days.
Amplify messages and actions from ally organizations to broader ECA membership and personal networks.
Engage broader ECA membership in effective lobbying efforts.
Model and encourage care for future generations.
