We are non-partisan elder climate activists committed to taking individual and collective action for a just and sustainable future. We use our wisdom and life experience to transform anxiety into organizing and action, connecting and having fun along the way.
We offer:
Monthly Zoom meetings that provide ongoing education, legislative/policy updates, and opportunities for action
Regular ‘Action Alert’ emails for individual and collective actions
Opportunities for collaboration with other local and national climate action groups
As a chapter of ECA, we follow the mission and priorities of National ECA, with a focus for action in Minnesota.
The mission of Elders Climate Action is to mobilize elders throughout the United States to address climate change while there is still time to protect the well-being of our grandchildren and future generations. We are dedicated to using the power of our caring, our wisdom and our numbers to push for strong policies that will reduce greenhouse gases in our atmosphere to a level consistent with life thriving on our planet.
