Class of 2023 Recognitions


Congratulations to the following students who have been selected as Senior Superlatives for the Class of 2023!

Senior Superlatives are chosen based on a point system that weighs achievement in various categories of activities in grades 9-11, including academic, competitive team, and elected, individual and group activities. Candidates must complete an application to be considered, and these students will now be recognized in a special section in the yearbook.

In alphabetical order, this year’s Senior Superlatives are:

Lyndsie Acker, Emma Albertson, Jamia Allen, Emalise Andrews, Alex Bennett, Abby Bryant, Ava Dye, Landen Ingram, Emma Grace Jarvis, Jasmine Johnson, Marquaveon Johnson, Ximena Laguna, Callie Moss, Lilly Ray, Ryleigh Rosenburg, Broughton Smith, and Brady Starrett.

Elbert County Comprehensive High School and the Elbert County Chamber of Commerce are pleased to announce that Emma Grace Jarvis, daughter of Candi and Shannon Jarvis, has been named as the STAR Student for 2022-23. Emma Grace selected Mrs. JoAnn Gunter as her STAR Teacher.

2023 Local Scholarships

Approximately $108,000 in local scholarships was given out tonight (5/18) at our annual Senior Scholarship and Awards Night! Congratulations to all of our scholarship recipients, and a HUGE thank you to all of the local businesses and organizations that give so generously year after year to support academic achievement and encourage higher learning in Elbert County! Way to go, Class of 2023! Next stop...The Granite Bowl!!
