Mrs. Stacey Almond

Mrs. Almond has been a School Counselor at Elbert County Comprehensive High school since 2006. Prior to that, she served as an Elementary School Counselor in Elbert County and as a Middle School Counselor in Hart County. Mrs. Almond earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Furman University. She earned both a Master's degree in Education and a Specialist degree in School Counseling from the University of Georgia.

At ECCHS, Mrs. Almond serves as the Dual Enrollment Coordinator, assisting students through both the application and scheduling process. She also provides college admissions counseling services to seniors, helping them to navigate college applications, standardized testing, letters of recommendation, transcript submission, and financial aid. Other duties at ECCHS include planning parent information nights, scheduling and registration for all grade levels, new student enrollment, planning a yearly College Fair and coordinating the school's annual Awards Program.

Mrs. Almond is married and has two children: Caroline, who is a senior at Georgia College, and Max, who is a freshman at Appalachian State University.

Dr. Le Lang

Dr. Lang has been a School Counselor at Elbert County Comprehensive High School since 2017. Prior to ECCHS, she served as a Graduation Intervention Specialist, 504/SST Coordinator, Elementary School Counselor and a Jr. High School Counselor in Colquitt County. Dr. Lang earned her Bachelors in Criminal Justice from Albany State University. She earned her Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology from Argosy University (Atlanta Campus). She earned her Specialist and Doctorate degree in Educational Leadership from Argosy University in Sarasota, Florida.

Dr. Lang serves as the Test Coordinator and is responsible for organizing the following assessments: GA Milestones EOC (End of Course) tests , PSAT, SAT, ACT, SLO Tests, and serves as the Advanced Placement Coordinator. She coordinates and facilitates 504 Plan meetings for all 9th Grade students. She provides individual and group counseling as needed to address the social emotional and academic concerns of students.

Dr. Lang has two children, Nathan who is a Junior at Clark Atlanta University and Noelle who is a Freshman at Howard University in Washington, DC.

Mrs. Wausheka McClary

Mrs. McClary has been the Social Worker at ECCHS since 2016. Prior to that, she served as the Title I Parent Engagement Specialist and Parent Mentor for families of students with special needs. Mrs. McClary earned her Bachelor of Arts in Human Services Delivery and Administration from the University of North Georgia and her masters in School Counseling from Walden University.

Mrs. McClary provides support to students addressing academic, social and emotional needs, placing emphasis on the expectation of attending school every day. Mrs. McClary also serves as a liaison between ECCHS and the community, fostering positive partnerships to connect students with resources to address emotional, social, physical and physiological needs.

Mrs. Rhonda Driver

Mrs. Driver, Graduation Coach at Elbert County Comprehensive High School, has been employed with the Elbert County School System for 39 years. For 35 years, she served as a math teacher at ECCHS. The last 4 years she has served as Graduation Coach. Mrs. Driver earned her undergraduate degree in Mathematics from UGA's Franklin College of Arts and Sciences. She earned both a Master's degree in Mathematics Education and a Specialist degree in Mathematics Education from the University of Georgia.

Mrs. Driver serves as Senior Class Advisor and monitors student academic progress toward meeting graduation requirements. She also coordinates TEAM Time-Teachers as Advisors, BRIDGE / Career Education, CAPSTONE, Extended Credit Recovery, After-school Credit Recovery, Extended Learning Time and Online learning opportunities. Other duties include CTAE Testing Coordinator.

Mrs. Driver is a proponent of public education and is dedicated to helping students reach their goals.
