Clarinet

The clarinet and saxophone are 2 woodwinds instruments that must have a REED in order for the sound to happen. No reed= no sound! We use Rico Royal reeds, which vary in strength from 1 to 5. We use strength 2 for beginners. Your teacher will tell you when it is time to switch to a 2.5 or 3.
