The percussion section is full of instruments! As a percussionist, you'll be in charge of learning a whole FAMILY of instruments. You will start on a snare drum (part of a 'drum kit') -- but by high school, you'll be playing all sorts of instruments with mallets, tuning timpani, crashing cymbals, and striking a bass drum.
