The Urban Cow Half Marathon is September 26 & 27. The Giant Pumpkin Festival is October 3 & 4. Students can still sign up to volunteer and earn community service hours. The festival takes place on. Register to volunteer here: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/5080C49A5A72DA7FF2-64618853-2026#/  It looks like the areas with several slots remaining are: set up on 10/1 and the AG Area (must be 16 or older) on both 10/3 and 10/4.

The Run the Parkway Half Marathon takes place in November and has many volunteer opportunities left with all sorts of needs, from packet pick up, start line help, aid stations, finish lines, food court: https://arpf.volunteerlocal.com/volunteer/?id=103174 

The SRA (Sacramento Running Association) has a volunteer program. Students can complete the form online under GROUP Volunteers and they'll be notified of all of the events coming up. This is peak running season, meaning there are lots of opportunities to volunteer from now through December. https://runsra.org/volunteer/
