October 1st: CSU/UC Application filing period through November 30 for next fall admission. Individual campuses may extend their deadline.
October 1st: 2026-27 Financial Aid Applications (FAFSA or CADAA) opens, March 2nd priority deadline!
College applications and FAFSA can be launched from your Californiacolleges.edu account. By launching Cal State Apply and/or UC application from your Californiacolleges.edu account, allows you to import A-G courses saving you time and errors! The automated course upload feature syncs with Synergy to upload all your completed A-G course information. You'll still need to review imported courses to ensure courses/credits are accurately reflected on the application and you'll need to enter your A-G courses that are in progress and planned. SAT/ACT: Scores are no longer being considered for CSU/UC admissions, they may be accepted as a factor in math and/or English placement decisions. Other universities; whether private, independent or out of state, may still consider scores for admissions so be sure to check their freshman requirements if you plan to apply. Scores may also be considered for some scholarships as well.
