EGUSD CTE Satellite Program (formerly Explore CTE) Information and Application

The 2026-27 CTE Satellite Application will open on February 2nd for juniors(rising seniors) to apply. The application is linked below for quick access, however, feel free to visit  EGUSD’s College & Career Connections - Satellite CTE Programs  for details.

Application Timeline/Deadline:

CTE Satellite Application Window: February 2 through February 27, 2026.

Applications submitted after the due date may be reviewed on a case by case basis depending on class availability. Applications will not be considered once classes begin. 

All CTE courses are year-long, and only open to rising (2026-27) seniors. 

Online applications go directly to district CTE office staff and they'll follow-up by emailing your parent then counselor for approval. 

Juniors who are interested in a CTE Satellite course should apply. The application will close on February 27, 2026.

Helpful Tips Prior to Applying:

• Review the courses in the Course Catalog for details (dates, time, locations, grade level, etc.)

• Transportation is NOT provided for these courses.  You will have to arrange your own transportation.

• Check in with your counselor prior to applying and discuss if this course would be a good fit for you.

• After you submit your application your parents will be contacted for parent approval. 

• Make sure that your parents are aware and that they check their email for the approval email.

• Counselor verification will take place after parent approval.
