Seasonal Changes and Antarctica

This past week the children have been investigating and researching the seasonal changes of winter and Antarctica! The children have written some fantastic fact files using our chilli challenge sentence starters of 'Did you know', 'Interestingly' and 'Amazingly'. They worked incredibily hard to research lots of facts using videos, books, globes and google earth. The children also created bird feeders to help the birds during the winter months and placed them around the school grounds. They also had lots of fun using the glockenspiels and counting in time with the music. 

This half term in computing, we have been looking at programming. We have been able to successfully use the buttons on the beebots to move it in different directions of forwards, backwards, left and right. We showed great effort and determination with our talk partners to direct the beebots and was able to give each other instructions to follow. It was so much fun!
