We have been enjoying the story of 'The Gruffalo's Child' by Julia Donaldson.
We made our very own Gruffalo cave and experimented with torches to create shadows and different coloured effects.
The children are doing incredible things in the building areas, in Ladybird class they are working well as a team to create their very own McDonald's drive through.
Outside, tents and dens are proving very popular too!
We used rice crispies to crunch and stomp!
The children used paint brushes to create transient pictures in the sand.
We all enjoyed a trip to explore our local Library.
The children took their Library cards so that they could all bring a book back to share with their families.
As part of our learning about healthy foods, we sliced and chopped some delicious fruits to make a special snack.
As part of Children's Mental Health Week we enjoyed a session of yoga together.
We had a specialist Yoga teacher lead the session, focussing on well being.
We were great at holding some of the positions!
