Science
6A have been learning all about the digestive system in Science. Here are some posters that they created in pairs explaining this process.
Designing Websites
As part of our computing unit this half term, Year 6 have been designing their own websites based around North American countries. Here are some examples of our work...

The story of the Buddha
In RE this half term, we have been studying Buddhism. We created comic strips to tell the story of Buddha.
PSHE- Global Warming
As part of our 'Living in the Wider World' unit, we explored global warming and what we can do as global citizens to help reduce this enviornmental issue in the future. As a class, we made up slogans to encourage others to do more for our environment and displayed these as a whole class piece of work.
Gymnastics
Year 6 have worked really hard in gymnastics this term on balances, leaps and rolls. They can now perform a stag leap, a full cat leap turn, a dive forward roll and a backwards roll. They have also worked hard on balancing, using different ways to travel and how to safely jump off equipment. Here are some photographs of year 6 in action!
School Council Elections
On Friday, we listened to the school council campaign speeches and the children voted for who they felt would best represent their class. All of the candidates should be very proud of themselves- they were brave, fluent and all delivered a very persuasive speech. We are delighted to announce that Freya S, Nate W, Imogen J and Riley C won the votes for their year goup. Well done!
This term, we have taken part in a yoga session with a visiting instructor - making affirmations, completing stretches and breathing exercises to help with our mindfulness.
