On Friday, we took on a tough PE workout led by Joe Wicks as part of our Children in Need fundraising day. Joe Wicks had set himself a challenge of completing a 24 hour PE workout- he only had a 5 minute break every hour! We joined in with one 25 minute workout and were exhausted at the end- we have no idea how he managed to complete the 24 hour challenge! We also completed some Pudsey bear themed maths code breakers. Thank you for donating to this wonderful cause.
In order to mark Remembrance Day, we created a piece of artwork as a class. We are really proud of the work the children produced in a short space of time and how they worked together so well as a team.
In computing lessons this term, we have been designing 3D models - planning a new building that would improve life in Rayleigh.
We have had lots of fun making decorations for the class and creating a Christmas glass jar to take home. It would be great if the children could add a battery operated tealight to their jar to add to the christmassy feel!
As part of our history work, the children worked in teams to research and present an aspect of Mayan life to the class. They worked really well as a team and presented their work beautifully.
