About Mr Plewa

I moved to El Dorado in 2013 from Los Angeles where I worked in several outdoor education programs and volunteered as a court appointed special advocate in the foster care system.  I hold a Special Education teaching credential from Sacramento State and  I'm a member of the California Chapter of the Council for Exceptional Children, a group that advocates for the rights of students with disabilities.  I hold a law degree from the University of Aberdeen in Scotland which is where I grew up and why I pronounce my vowels the way I do.  Outside of school in my spare time I like to  to photograph wild landscapes and go hiking with my wife, Jen, and our dog, Bruno.
