Making a Difference and Doing the Best You Can
Here are a few little videos students can watch and think about how this could apply to our current situation with COVID-19. It might help them reflect on what they do have control of and how they can help (i.e. social distancing, kindness, washing hands, etc.)

Review and practice math fact fluency. Student's will be given weekly speed drill quizzes to improve accuracy and recall. Any extra practice that can be done at home is highly encouraged.
- Mad Minute Speed Drills (this is the link I use for the speed drills we do in class)
You can print these for extra practice at home if you like!
Use the menu on the left hand side of the website to choose the operation you would like to practice.
When creating your worksheet, choose values which will help the students practice up to a sum and difference of 18 (9+9 and 18-9 as the largest questions), vice versa for subtraction and up to 9x9 for multiplication and 81/9 for division. ** I choose the 3 minute option so that 60 questions are printed. This one sheet will be good for 2 mad minute drills but the student's get one minute to do as many of the first 30 questions as possible.
