Miss Walsh
YEAR 6 PLC LEARNING SPECIALIST AND 6A TEACHER
Welcome to Year 6!
I am Miss Walsh and I am so excited to be teaching 6A every Thursday this
year and leading the year 6 team for 2025. I have been teaching for 10 years and have worked in Australia and the U.K.
I enjoy spending my free time playing with my daughter, going to the gym, travelling and reading. I look forward to meeting you and having an amazing year together!

I have a pet rabbit named Tsuro
I love watching movies and seeing live comedy
Miss Omi
I am very excited to join your class
nexy year. My name is Omrita but I
prefer being called Omi. This is my
second year with my own classroom.
Apart from being a teacher, I am
also a mum to 2 kids - a 10 year old
and 6 year old. My family loves to
go on hikes and to the beach. We
don’t have any pets, but we love
dog sitting for our family and
friends. We are from South India
and have called Australia, our home
for the past 15 years.
Fun facts:
I am a trained Indian classical dance.
I love reading big, huge novels.
I lived in Dubai for 22 years before
moving to Melbourne.
I love growing veggies in my garden.
In my classroom, I strive to create a
positive and inclusive learning
environment where every student feels
valued and supported. I believe in
fostering curiosity, critical thinking, and a
growth mindset. Together, we will
explore, question, and learn as a
community.
Mrs Youssef
Hello! My name is Mrs Youssef. I am so excited to be teaching grade 6 next year!
Some of you may already know me as I have taught you in 2022 (Year 3), I can't wait to have you again and see how far you have come! For those that I don't know yet, I can't wait to get to know you!
I am 27 years old, turning 28 on June 24th!
Last year in October, I had my first child, a
baby girl named Dua! She keeps me busy
and you will hear me talking about her a lot!
I am Lebanese and have grown up in
Melbourne with my big family. I have five
siblings; three older brothers and two
younger sisters. I love spending time with
my family and seeing my nephews and
nieces! As you could imagine, it does get
really loud when my family gets together.
During Winter, I love staying home,
cooking/baking and putting a movie on! As
soon as the weather warms up, I love to go
on road trips and to the beach!
Mr Vera
My name is Mr Vera and I am your grade 6 teacher for 2025. This is my 2nd year at ACPS, and my 6th year as a teacher. I have a passion for teaching and I am dedicated to creating a positive learning environment.
About me:
I love travelling, sport and exercise. I also studied History at university so I am very interested in non-fiction literature.
My classroom motto: Teamwork makes the dream work!
Miss Pattison
Hello! My name is Miss Pattison and I will be your grade 6 teacher this upcoming year! I am super excited to join you for your last year of primary school and make it super special!
While this will be my first year teaching, I have lots of experience as a CRT in term 4 last year, in disability support and as an ES at Aitken Creek, so I might look familiar!

I am Ms Sims, your classroom teacher, and very excited to be with you this year for Year 6E. I look forward to getting to know you and for you to get to know me.
Here are few things about me:
I love being a teacher! I barrack for the mighty Tigers (Richmond AFL) and I’m really getting into Soccer. The beach is my favourite place in the world Elephants are my favourite animal. I am a fantastic aunty to my two nephews Dancing, swimming, reading, Sudoku, coffee, hiking… - some of my hobbies Did I mention I love being a teacher? I LOVE being a teacher!

My name is Mr Uniacke and
I am looking forward to

I have been teaching for 8
years with the last 5 years
being at ACPS.
I am married to the
wonderful Jackie and have
6 children, Connor, Bethany,
Harrison, Ella, Gabriella and
Chloe. I also have a dog,
Buddy who completes our
amazing family.
When I’m not working I love
to help out my local
community and spend time
reading and watching sport.
I’m looking forward to a
wonderful year of learning in 2025.
