Reading with Fluency
Learning Intention
We are learning to use fluency fox to read smoothly and self assess my ability to read smoothly. I am learning this so I can read smoothly and make it enjoyable for my audience to listen to.
Success Criteria
I can:
Read aloud with some fluency.
Rate myself on the fluency scale.
Fluency Video
First watch the video of Mrs Vincent explaining the strategy of reading fluently and how to mark yourself.
Smooth-o-meter
Then read for 10-15 minutes and then use the Smooth-o-meter to help you to understand what a 1,2 and 3 sound like.
Fluency Rating Sheet
Last, assess yourself based on your fluency today.

Using a page in your workbook, draw and design a small obstacle course for one of your teddies/dolls/action figures to complete.
Label the different sections, and list things that you will need.

Learning Intention:
We are learning to say, order, make and rename numbers.
Success Criteria:
Say the number
Identify how many thousands/hundreds/tens/ones by expanding the number.
Make the number by drawing it using thousands/hundreds/tens/ones.
Rename the number by regrouping
2 ten sided dice
Roll your ten sided dice twice to make a two digit number, write this number down. Repeat five times.
Rewrite these five numbers in order from smallest to largest.
