Provide opportunity for cultural mentoring for school staff as required

Schools and/or families and carers advocates 

Assist and advise in Marrung planning

Supportive advocacy for the schools and Koorie families/carers

Provide schools with advice on referrals link with relevant stakeholders to ensure students are aware of programs and supports 

Ensure students are provided with opportunity to apply for scholarships, educational or additional training needs 

Support Schools to ensure all Koorie students have an IEP to support their aspirations and goals 

Build community connection to support students and families across the school

Attend SSGs and DIPs (only if needed)

Support engaging families

Engage with the family in an informal setting if needed (i.e café, park)

Case manage

One on one work 

Provide transport

Arrange meetings and lead, this is to be done by the school/case manager

Write IEPs

Attend home visits

Hold meetings with parents/carers without school lead present 

Cultural workshops
