2022 Coaching Goals
By the end of Term 1, I will deliver lessons launches that engage all students at the right level, so that students feel that what they are doing is relevant to them.
By the end of Term 2, I will develop confidence/knowledge to teach problem solving so that my students learn how to become problem solvers.
By the end of Term 3, I will have a clear understanding of the expectations of a Year 5 writing sample, so that I can give feedback that extends writers working above level.
Peer Observation
I have an observation buddy who comes twice a term to observe a specific goal I am working on.
We have a pre-observation conversation to determine the focus, data collection method, and time of our next round of observations.
We have a post-observation conversation where my buddy provides their observations and we reflect together on my practice in relation to the goal.
