The Student Voice, Agency and Leadership Community of Practice discusses ideas and strategies for embedding student voice and agency across the school. Teachers and leaders share what is already happening in their schools, and also discuss and support each other with plans for the future.

Central Highlands VCE English results have improved over the last 3 years. This community of practice is an opportunity to share and learn about effective teaching in VCE English. There is collaboration between highly experienced teachers and graduate teachers alike, to work towards the common goal of improving VCE English outcomes for all students in Central Highlands.

The Community of Practice involves leaders from all of our Secondary schools working together to improve outcomes in senior secondary.

ASSIST is a Community of Practice of small schools (under 50 students). Teachers and principals work together to analyse student data and set goals for students. Outcomes for students are improved through analysis of data at an Area level, school level and student level and principals work collaboratively with their teachers and other schools to develop action plans to address student point of need and track student learning.

SSNAP is a new initiative in Central Highlands, for Year 8 numeracy teachers.
The aim is to improve numeracy achievement outcomes for Year 9 students.
The collegiate network will work together as they work through the FISO Inquiry cycle.
