Lesson Details
1) As a year level we will be attending an assembly in the library to discuss the IBL project
2) Mrs Prewett will talk you through what the IBL project is and why we will be completing it
3) Mrs Prewett will show you where you can find all resources for this project and how you will be submitting the project
4) Mrs Prewett will be providing you with all important dates including
a) dates you will be completing the project (Term 2 Week 3)
b) Due date of IBL Project (Wednesday 14th May)
c) Showcase of Learning night (Monday 19th May 5:30-6:30)
5) Mrs Prewett will talk you through the upcoming tasks for today, including the goal setting tasks and setting your group's norms and protocols.
6) Mrs Prewett will be supplying each class with their hard copy of the IBL task in a cardboard folder. Each group should hold onto this folder for the duration of the project as this is where all hard copy items will be stored and this will be handed in to your English teacher at the end of the project.
Lesson Details
1) In your period 2 classroom you will be completing a goal setting task.
2) This is an individual task and each student must complete and upload this task to Compass. If you do not have a laptop with you, your teacher will have hard copies of the task available.
3) This task allows you to set goals for the duration of the IBL project and come up with strategies to help you achieve your goals.
4) If time allows you can start to read the tasks from the IBL booklet located on this webpage or under resources in your Homegroup Compass page.
Lesson Details
1) In your normal period 3 classroom you will be completing task 1 from the Year 8 IBL Smoothie Bar Project.
2) This task involves setting up your team norms and protocols to ensure you will be able to successfully complete your team work.
3) Once completed this needs to be uploaded to the Learning Task on Compass (under your homegroup page). Only the person responsible for uploading tasks needs to submit this, not each individual member.
