Lesson Details
1) As a class you will watch the Day 4 briefing video.
2) Groups will now be working on Task 10: making a nutritional label that will be displayed on the Showcase of Learning Night.
3) Your label will include: Energy (kj), Protein (g), Total Fats (g) and Sugars (g).
4) You can gather the information from the website linked in your IBL booklet. The website allows you to adjust the quantity of each food that you have, so make sure you take this into account when making your label.
5) Your label should look similar to that displayed on foods in Australia, an example has been supplied in your IBL booklet.
6) If time allows you could also add Carbohydrates (g), Saturated fats (g), Sodium (mg) and Calcium (mg).
Lesson Details
1) During this lesson groups will be having a check in with your teacher to see how things are going.
2) When your teacher calls your group, everyone needs to come up together to have a chat. This chat should last approximately 5 minutes. Your teacher will have a list of questions they will be asking you
3) Your teacher will hold onto the question sheet, they will take a photocopy of it and get the original back to you in period 1 tomorrow.
4) Whilst groups are checking in with their teacher, everyone else should be using this time to make sure everything from Tasks 1 to 9 are complete.

b) A Menu
c) Loyalty Cards
4) For Bonus Points If you would like the opportunity to get a bonus mark on your Smoothie Bar Project you can also make a second Menu in either Japanese or French depending which Language you study. This menu must include your 3 signature items with all ingredients listed and the cost of these items converted from Australian Dollars ($) to either Japanese Yen (¥) or French Euro (€).

2) As a group you will be completing Task 12 from the IBL booklet. You need to come up with pitch strategies that you will use to encourage parents to come to your store on the Showcase of Learning night.
3) Try to make each of your examples different so you have lots of things to say. Practice within your group to make sure it sounds persuasive and engaging and that you are confident with your wording.
