Principal Choir

Eligibility and selection

The Pulse Alive team are seeking talented choristers from Years 5 to 12 in 2024 from NSW public schools to form the Principal Choir for Pulse Alive 2024.

The Principal Choir will provide the basis for the choral sound for the show.

Students applying to be part of the Principal Choir should be experienced at singing in ensembles and holding both basic and complex vocal parts within an ensemble setting.

Please note, this category is only open to individual performers. Students selected as members of the princpal choir will not be able to participate with their school group in massed choir.

Successful students will require the endorsement of their school principal to participate. Students are encouraged to discuss their nomination with a teacher at their school prior to submission.

Students participating in this category will be supervised by members of the Pulse Alive team. Schools will not be expected to provide a teacher for duty of care of these students.

Please note, if you have also applied in the category of Princpal Vocalist for Pulse Alive 2024, you will automatically be considered in the Principal Choir audition process.
