Collect a vintage photograph from your teacher to transform in the style of Naomi Vona.
Once you have your image, plan a colour palette and a range of shapes/patterns that you intend to overlay. What in the image sparks your interest? How can you draw attention towards, or away from something?
Experiment with tissue paper, textas, paint and anything else you might have to elevate your vintage image.
Photograph your final piece and add to your digital Visual Arts Diary and/or the Google Classroom - your teacher will tell you what to do.
The images provided to you by your teacher are sourced from the City of Sydney online archives. Isn't it amazing to see this city and it's people in a different time?
