Create & Photograph a Unique Alphabet
Artmaking Task.
This activity will take 2 lessons to complete.
Create, photograph and document original and innovative text alphabet from A to Z.
1. Observe the examples below that show innovative and different fonts and ways that artists have create their own unique alphabets.
2. Think of how you could create the letters of the alphabet using objects/materials that you have access to - in this case in the classroom.
3. Source your materials from the artroom - Once you find your objects that you could use arrange them to form each letter.
Objects could include but are not limited to:
- scissors
- pencils
- crayons
- paper
- be creative and think outside the box.
4. Photograph each letter - one at a time and photograph each letter as you go. (You will need access to your mobile device).
5. When you have completed photographing your alphabet - reform your letters into a grid as shown below and upload this onto your VAD PPT.
6. Make sure that you return all objects to their place in the artroom.
