Work Placement

Students in Year 11 Hospitality have successfully completed their first work placement. Over the last 2 weeks, students from both classes have been working for a week, at a various local businesses such as Kiss the Barista, Cup and Cook, Blossoms and Brews, Haus of Mez, Al Aseel, and Cafe Jolie.

Every student had incredible feedback from their host employers, and some were even offered jobs.

What a fantastic way to make our school proud. A big shoutout to all of the incredible, local businesses that have supported our students and enabled these placements to happen. Students will undertake another work placement next year, to complete a total of 70 hours. It is a mandatory part of the course, and such an excellent way for students to learn new skills, and to put into practice the skills they have been learning at school.
