On 29th July 2025, Kogarah High School hosted our Subject Selection Evening for Year 8 and Year 10 students and their parents. This important event provided detailed presentations outlining key information about the Record of School Achievement (RoSA) and the Higher School Certificate (HSC), helping families understand the academic requirements and pathways ahead.
The evening also offered a valuable opportunity for students and parents to engage directly with faculty members, asking questions and gaining insights into specific subjects to make well-informed decisions.
Following the evening, Year 10 students participated in subject selection interviews with a dedicated team of staff. These interviews were designed to support students in choosing a learning pathway that aligns with their skills, abilities, and future goals, ensuring a personalised and thoughtful approach to their education.
We are pleased to announce that all students have now selected their subjects for 2026. With this crucial step complete, the process of constructing the 2026 timetable is underway.
Students will be notified of their subject allocations for Year 9 and Year 11 before the end of the year, allowing them to prepare for an exciting and successful academic year ahead.
We thank students, parents, and staff for their active participation in this vital process and look forward to supporting our students as they continue their educational journey.
