Year 8 has had a positive start to Term 3. In Week 1, we were able to go on our Rewards Excursion to Sydney Aquarium and Wild Life Zoo. We had a great day exploring these venues, meeting lots of adorable animals and taking way too many photos! We hope to arrange more excursions in the future as a reward to the students who are working hard, following the 4 Rs and achieving their personal best and we encourage all of Year 8 to work towards these goals.

This term, some students will be participating in the ABCN Innovate program, as well as the Sydney Opera House CLIL program. These are great initiatives to build students’ confidence, creativity and leadership skills.

Year 8 will also be choosing their electives for Year 9 and Year 10. There are a range of subjects to pick from, including ones that will be completely new. We encourage Year 8 to choose subjects that they find interesting and know that they will enjoy as this is a great opportunity to explore your own interests.
