Congratulations to the Kogarah High School senior student leadership team who have worked tirelessly to support the values of the school: respect, responsibility, resilience and reflection, promoting these daily through their actions and regularly in assembly. Particular congratulations go to Ali Samhat, Maddison Kelly and Tanan Zandansharav for their awareness-raising of significant events and initiatives in the community including Harmony Day and Valentine's Day. I would like to acknowledge and thank the time and effort that the senior student leadership team has invested organising engaging events for the school community, including fund-raising for charities such as the Cancer Council through the World's Greatest Shave Event and in support of students in North Coast schools suffering from the impact of the recent devastating floods. Their contributions have enhanced the engagement and sense of belonging of all students at Kogarah High School. Well done to the students on their great efforts and for their community spirit. I would like to wish them all the best for a bright future.
