NAIDOC & Leadership Assembly

On Thursday the 4th of August, Kogarah High School held a very special assembly. We celebrated NAIDOC week with a smoking ceremony and performance from a talented Aboriginal composer and ex KHS student, Eric Avery. We also enjoyed a moving performance from Tanan in year 12. We thanked our exiting student leadership team for their hard work and contributions to KHS as they make time to prepare for their HSC trials. The honourable Christopher Minns shook hands with our incoming leaders and we celebrated their success in taking on these important roles. It was a very memorable assembly, celebrating the achievements and values of our KHS community.
