Note - the process for rescheduling an after school (Tuesday) detention is the same, except for selecting the After School Tuesday (HT,DP) detention and using the GHS Second Tuesday Detention letter.
Tip: Knowing the Incident number can make steps below quicker.
A detention has been scheduled for this student against an incident.
Student fails to attend detention.
To reschedule a detention, first you mark it as Failed to Attend.
In Wellbeing you will see a Detentions sub-menu on the left-hand side.
From the Detentions sub-menu drop-down, select Mark Detention Rolls.
Find the timeslot for the original detention and select Mark.
Mark the student as Failed to Attend. And press Save.
From the Detentions sub-menu select Reschedule Detentions.
Find the detention your student failed to attend and select the green Reschedule button.
Hint: Ctrl + F to search for the student’s name or the Incident number.
In the dialog box that appears, select the Rescheduled Date and Rescheduled Period, press Save.
Return to the original incident.
The quickest way to do this, is by entering the incident number in the Search Wellbeing field.
On the original incident, you will notice the Detention section shows Failed to Attend and the rescheduled detention.
Select Print Letters.
Select the letter GHS Faculty Detention Rescheduled. Press Print.
The printed letter shows the original detention date and rescheduled date.
