Scheduling

Scheduling is the function centre where teachers can access and create the following functions;

• Timetables
• Rosters
• School Calender

Timetables:

This function is used to access all timetable information for staff and student timetables.

• You can search for timetables by using the search bar- make sure you have selected either Teachers or Students accordingly
• To Print Timetables use the link under the Printing tab on the left hand side of the screen
• Under the Planning tab on the left hand side of the screen you can search for Available Rooms and Available Teachers
• Under the Timetables tab on the left hand side of the screen you can use the Student Locator to locate the whereabouts of a student at a specific time.

Whole School Timetables,Year Groups, Buddy teachers and Room Availability

Sentral has limited timetable capabilities as compared to traditional timetable software such as First Class. However, to find the above timetables a feature called Period timetables allows you to see whole school timetables:

Follow the following instructions to access these timetables:

1. Select timetables from the Scheduling Function Centre

2. Then look on the left hand side for "Period timetables"

3. Click on the day you want and it will provide you with the periods for the day

4. Select the period you want and it will show you where all Year 7-12 are in that period only. You will need to select each period you require information for.
