Click 'Teams' and then 'Join or create team'. Click 'Create team' and select class. Enter a name for the team and a description if required. Press next.
Add students to the team by typing in their name or email.

This video looks at how to access create a new section or a channel in MS Teams. The first thing to do, is to open Office 365 and Teams. Select the right team and click on settings. Click 'Add channel'. Give it a name and a description. Under privacy, select the appropriate setting. Press 'Add'.
