This video looks at how to access One Drive through the DoE staff portal. The first thing to do, is to open staff portal and log in. Click 'Add new essential'. Search for Microsoft Office 365. Add it to essentials. Once this is done, go back to Home and click 'Microsoft Office 365'. Then click 'One Drive'.

This video looks at how to access Word, Excel and Powerpoint online thorough One Drive and staff portal. The first thing to do is to log on to the staff portal and click on Microsoft Office 365 in the dashboard. A new tab opens that shows Word, Excel, Powerpoint and other Office 365 apps online. Click on 'Word'. Here a new word document can be created or existing word documents uploaded.

How to share an Office 365 document with students and colleagues

This video looks at how to use Microsoft Office 365 to share a word document for collaboration and also how to share a document with students so that they can get their own copy.

The first thing to do is to open a word online document. In the document, click 'Share' and then 'People in the NSW Department of Education with the link can view', to see document sharing settings. Select 'Allow editing'. This enables others to edit this document as collaborators.

To enable students or colleagues to get their own copy of the document, click 'Share' and enter an email address or a group name from MS Teams and press 'Send'.

This is how Word and other Office 365 apps can be used collaboratively online.
