About Eleebana OOSH

Eleebana OOSH operates in partnership with Eleebana Public School.  We are a non-profit Community based organisation, meaning all fees charged by our service go directly into the running of the service and back into the local Eleebana Community.

Together with the school and P&C we have funded projects such as the bottom playground equipment, sound and video equipment for the school hall and the senior play equipment.

Eleebana OOSH is operated by a voluntary Parent Committee, who are the Approved Provider and we employ qualified Professional staff.

Our service is approved to provide care for 150 children per session.

Eleebana OOSH was rated as Exceeding in all 7 National standards for children's services in 2023.

Our Program

Our program is guided by the interests of the children, current events & celebrations and links directly to the “My time, Our Place” curriculum framework for school aged care.

We run a free flow play-based program where children can participate in as little or as many activities as they like.

Children are encouraged to play outdoors and there is a large focus on nature play and loose parts play. Families can view our weekly program and afternoon tea menu on the notice board outside the OOSH or our Facebook page.

Especially for Kindy’s

Educators from OOSH walk the Kindy children to their classrooms each morning and collect them from their classroom each afternoon during first term.

Our Kindy children are required to wear bright coloured vests for their first term of OOSH to aid with supervision while they are getting to know the playground.

An OOSH Educator does a Kindy headcount every 15 minutes at after school care during first term, to ensure all our kindy's are where they are meant to be.
