At Eleebana Public School, Aboriginal education is a valued and important part of our Transition to School program. We work in close partnership with Aboriginal Early Childhood Community Engagement Officers (ECCEO) from the NSW Aboriginal Education Consultative Group (AECG) to support our Aboriginal children and their families as they begin Kindergarten. Together, we co-develop Personalised Learning Pathways (PLPs) that reflect each child’s strengths, identity, and aspirations. We also provide opportunities for students to engage in meaningful cultural activities and connect with community, while collaborating across our Community of Schools to participate in key events that celebrate and promote Aboriginal culture.
