The school subscribes to a number of learning apps and sites. Below are some of the most useful and used during remote learning. Most are accessible with just a students school computer username and password.
A digital video library of educational films and documentaries. This archive has over 7, 500 videos on curriculum topics and current affairs including over 300 feature films available on desktop, tablet and phone.
Our central library catalogue lists all library resources and links to recommended digital resources. It allow students to see their loans, renew and reserve resources. Students can organise Click and Collect services if they are not at school or see the Teacher Librarian through their student portal.
Our school subscribes to this online encyclopedia providing 24/7 access to reliable and accurate information. Special features including recommended links, timelines, selected journal articles and a text to audio function to support student literacy. Students have been emailed their log in details. Khan Academy offers practice exercises, instructional videos, and a personalized learning dashboard that empower learners to study at their own pace in and outside of the classroom .
With over 30 FREE subject-specific online sessions, the HSC Subject Support Series is designed to help students improve their knowledge and understanding of key subject content and discover what HSC exam markers and assessors are looking for.
Education Perfect is an interactive learning and revision platform which includes reading and writing activities. Students can have assigned work or move through modules at their own pace.
