All students in NSW public schools are issued with a school email account.
Your email address will look like this: firstname.lastname@education.nsw.gov.au
Note: this may have a number eg fred.smith34
Step 1:
To access your email account go to https://portal.det.nsw.edu.au/
Enter your username and password.
Step 2:
Click on the hamburger symbol in the top left corner. This will bring up a menu where you can select the option "Email."
Step 3:
Enter your email address: firstname.lastname@education.nsw.gov.au
Step 4:
Enter your username and password:
Step 5:
This should take you to your inbox.
If not, click the waffle icon in the top right corner and select Gmail.
