Bidjigal Bush Tucker Garden

The Bidjigal Bush Tucker Garden was designed as a result of the 2019 Stage 2 STEM project. Students in Years 3 and 4 were involved in the planning, designing and construction of the garden which represents our local indigenous people. The garden features native stingless bees, yarning circles and an array of edible native bush tucker.

Seniors Nature Playground

The Seniors Intuitive Nature Playground is located at the rear of the School Hall. This natural play space is frequented by students in Years 5 and 6 each playtime. The playground includes climbing equipment, monkey bars and balance beams.

K-2 Playground

Students in Kindergarten through to Year 2 play in a the lower part of the school which includes a grass area, sensory garden, sports courts and quad.

Paraweena Reserve

Quad 1

Quad 1 is the covered learning area surrounded by Kindergarten classrooms. The Quad is covered by a permanent shade structure making it suitable for learning ion all weather. The Quad is marked with handball courts making it a desirable place for small ball games.

'Girralong' Grass Quad

The walls of the Girralong grass quad have been decorated with painted Murals which depict Australian landscape scenes and feature endangered native animals and flora. The centrepiece of the quad is the grand Jacaranda tree which is symbolic to Baulkham Hills North Public School. The 'Girralong' Grass Quad has been dedicated as a wellbeing play space during recess and lunch.

Sports Courts

The multipurpose sports courts have recently been upgraded. The new brightly coloured artificial turf surface is suitable for a range of sports including basketball, netball, tennis, newcombe ball and volleyball.
