At Baulkham Hills North Public School we endeavour to communicate effectively, clearly and consistently with parents. We communicate officially via the methods listed below. Be sure to sign up or register for each of the online platforms to ensure that you do not miss any important information.

A school newsletter and student news bulletin are published each fortnight and posted to the school website. Communication with students occurs  attend assemblies as part of their regular school routine.

Sentral Parent Portal

What is Sentral used for? Sentral parent portal is unique for each family and displays the information relevant to your child/ren. Sentral is used for:

What do you have to do? Once your child has been placed in their class you will receive a letter outlining the process for registering to the Sentral Parent Portal. The letter will include your unique family key which will give you access to your child’s information. The letter also outlines instructions for signing up to the portal and the app. If you misplace the letter or have any problems signing up to the portal or the app, please contact the school office.

If you already have a child at Baulkham Hills North Public School, you should already have access to the portal and will not need to do anything.

Signmee

Signmee – Online permission notes, newsletters and forms

What is Signmee used for? All written school communications will come home via the online platform ‘Signmee’. You will receive all permission notes, newsletters, school and class information. You will receive only a few notes in your child’s school bag so be sure to check your email or Signmee Inbox for all school correspondence. Signmee also includes a calendar that shows all of the school events relevant to your children.

What do you have to do? You will automatically begin to receive emails from ‘Signmee’ once your child begins at BHNPS. Simply click into the email, which comes addressed from ‘Signmee’ and take the steps to create a password. You will be alerted via email each time a new message has been sent to your Signmee inbox.

If you are not receiving emails from Signmee please contact the school to make sure we have your correct email address.

Seesaw

What is Seesaw used for? All classes use Seesaw to share work with students and families. See saw is private and families are only able view posts relevant to their child.

What do I have to do? Each family will receive an individual Seesaw login from their class teacher. This will give them access to their child's account. Families are able to access Seesaw through the Seesaw FAMILY App - 'Seesaw for parents and families' on their phone or device or via the Seesaw website. https://web.seesaw.me/

Students are required to download the Seesaw CLASS App - 'Seesaw: The Learning Journal'. 

If you require information to access your child's Seesaw journal please contact your teacher via the Sentral parent portal.
