A bit more about STLPx...

This is a great opportunity for students who aren’t participating in one of the sign-up challenges/competitions to receive recognition for demonstrating their learning and use of technologies while also having fun. The challenge is for students to earn all seven ribbon badges throughout the day and display them proudly on their name badges. Think of it like a Scavenger Hunt with the goal of earning a badge for all seven performance indicators. Badges can also be earned in some STLP Challenge competitions as well as other areas throughout the event as our Digital Learning Coaches see students demonstrate competency in one or more of the KAS for Technology performance indicators. Students who earn all seven ribbons can then visit one of the STLPx “Ask Me” stations to receive the STLP AWESOME ribbon for successfully earning all seven performance indicator ribbons.

Why: Transformative learning, powered through technologies will continue to ensure Kentucky students are leading as they transition to their next steps and redefine what is possible. The STLP Experiences are active examples of students demonstrating technology competencies (of Kentucky Academic Standards for Technology) through project-based learning designs.
