Message from the Principal:
Our Digital Gateway to Excellence
Our Digital Gateway to Excellence
Dear Parents, Guardians, and Members of the Community,
It is my great pleasure to welcome you to the official Google Site of Rangjung Primary School. In our pursuit of "Quality Education for All," we recognize that the growth of a child is a collective responsibility shared between the school and the community. This digital platform has been designed not just as an internal tool for our staff, but as a transparent and accessible window for the general public to engage with our school’s journey.
For our parents and the wider community, this website serves several vital purposes:
1. Real-Time Information and Transparency Gone are the days when school news stayed within the four walls of a classroom. Through our Home and Reports pages, the public can stay updated on our latest achievements—such as our recent 3rd-place finish in the Cluster Football Competition—and our long-term strategic plans. We believe that an informed community is a supportive community.
2. Academic Partnership at Home Education does not stop at the school gate. To help parents support their children’s learning, we have uploaded a comprehensive library of Past Question Papers for Classes IV, V, and VI across all subjects, including ICT and Dzongkha. This allows parents to actively participate in their child's exam preparation and monitor their academic progress using the same resources we use in school.
3. Showcasing Student Holistic Development Our site highlights the vibrant life of our students through Clubs like Tshemdru, Home Science, and Waste Management, as well as our Scouting and Games & Sports programs. For the general public, this serves as a testament to how Rangjung Primary School is nurturing not just scholars, but well-rounded citizens who value culture, health, and the environment.
4. Strengthening the Mentor-Mentee Bond We take pride in our Mentor-Mentee system. By publishing our mentee lists and mentor assignments online, we offer parents the clarity of knowing exactly which teacher is responsible for the personal and emotional well-being of their child. This fosters a deeper level of trust and direct communication between home and school.
5. Safety and Disaster Preparedness Public safety is our priority. Our School Disaster Management section outlines our protocols, ensuring that parents and the community are well-aware of the measures we take to keep our children safe during emergencies.
This website is a living document of our school’s heartbeat. I invite you to explore its various domains from our academic departments to our Silver Jubilee celebrations and join us in our mission to provide a nurturing environment for the future leaders of Bhutan.
We thank you for your continued trust and partnership.
Warm regards,
Principal
“Education is a shared commitment between dedicated teachers, motivated students, and enthusiastic parents with high expectations.”
The VOW (Values Orientation Week) programme was successfully conducted from 24th to 27th February 2026. The programme aimed to orient students on essential values, school expectations, personal development, and responsible digital behavior at the beginning of the academic year.
During the four-day programme, the following key topics were covered:
Driglam Choesum – Students were guided on proper etiquette, discipline, and cultural values to promote respectful behavior within and outside the school campus.
School Policy – The school rules, code of conduct, academic expectations, and student responsibilities were clearly explained to ensure a common understanding.
Health and Wellbeing – Sessions focused on personal hygiene, mental wellbeing, healthy lifestyle habits, and the importance of maintaining a positive attitude.
Values – Students were engaged in discussions on moral values such as respect, responsibility, honesty, and compassion.
Digital Responsibility and Cyber Etiquette – Students were sensitized on safe internet usage, digital footprint, cyber safety, and responsible online communication.
The sessions were interactive and engaging, allowing students to ask questions and clarify doubts. The programme helped reinforce discipline, awareness, and positive behavior among students, setting a strong foundation for the academic year 2026.
Overall, the VOW programme was conducted smoothly with active participation from both teachers and students.
The PP admission for the Academic Year 2026 was successfully conducted on 28th February 2026. The admission process was carried out in a fair, transparent, and orderly manner.
During the admission session, the Principal addressed the parents and highlighted the importance of early schooling in shaping a child’s foundation for learning and character development. Parents were also reminded of their vital role in supporting their children at home through proper care, guidance, and encouragement.
The Principal further clarified the age criteria for admission and explained the school’s rules and regulations that parents are expected to follow to ensure a smooth and supportive learning environment for all students.
The admission process was completed successfully, and admissions for PP 2026 have now been officially closed.
The school’s initiative to introduce morning studies for students in Classes IV to VI provides a dedicated time for focused learning, reinforcing the school’s commitment to academic enhancement. This extra period not only allows students to prepare for their upcoming common exams but also helps improve study habits by instilling discipline and a strong study routine. Teachers take turns monitoring these sessions, ensuring students receive the support and guidance they need each morning. Additionally, a few parents have generously supported this program by providing breakfast, contributing to students' well-being and readiness for the day, and we extend our heartfelt thanks to them for their involvement and care.
In 2026, Rangjung Primary School is celebrating its Silver Jubilee, marking 25 years of dedicated service in educating young learners. As part of this historic milestone, the school is carrying out various jubilee-related activities while continuing the process of collecting donations from alumni and well-wishers. In coordination with relevant stakeholders, the school will also come up with a Royal Portrait as a tribute to the Nation and a mark of deep loyalty and gratitude to His Majesty the King.
